Carrefour – C.C. Sempione – Domodossola
Carrefour (French for ‘junction’ or ‘crossroads’) is a French supermarket and hypermarket chain founded in Annecy in 1959.
Carrefour is the fourth-largest retail group in the world in terms of revenue and sales and the second-largest in Europe, after Germany’s Schwarz Gruppe. It operates in 30 countries, primarily in the European Union, Brazil, and Argentina, as well as in North Africa and Asia.
For renovation and refurbishment purposes, Isocaf designed and built a new TPO waterproofing system for this shopping center, redesigning the entire roof drainage system, as well as completing additional works such as HVAC system elevation, housing for mechanical systems, new extraction chimneys, and safety lifelines.
The technical design and detailing were completed in two months and continued throughout the project using CAD software.
