Zambon Plant

At the Zambon pharmaceutical plant in Vicenza, Isocaf S.r.l. carried out a roof refurbishment intervention over a total surface area of 11,700 sqm. The works, commenced in June 2025 and recently completed, were organized into multiple operational phases, planned to accommodate the different roof configurations and the requirements of an active production environment.

The intervention required a flexible and integrated approach, involving the use of Broof T2-certified TPO waterproofing membranes applied with different techniques depending on the characteristics of each surface. The works included installation beneath existing ballast, exposed applications with mechanical fastening through induction welding, and fully adhered systems applied by bonding.

This ensured continuity of the waterproofing system and consistent performance across all roofing areas of the facility.
In parallel with the roofing works, remediation activities were also carried out on a vertical wall extending over three levels, demonstrating the capability to operate on both horizontal and vertical surfaces.

A significant portion of the project involved the replacement of more than 250 skylights, including the installation of new units complete with domes. Each opening was also equipped with permanent fall protection safety nets, integrating the roofing system with long-term safety solutions for future maintenance activities.

A phased intervention, where the ability to adapt technical solutions to real site conditions ensured a continuous, precise, and consistent result across all treated surfaces.
