Store Ikea – Catania
Isocaf S.R.L. contributed to the redevelopment of the roof of the IKEA store in Catania, a highly significant project that covered an area of 18,000 sqm. The works, which began in August 2024 and have recently been completed, improved the efficiency, safety, and durability of the structure, fully meeting the high standards of quality and sustainability required by the IKEA brand.
During the intervention, we carried out the complete waterproofing of the roof, using mineral fiber panels to optimize thermal insulation and applying a fire-resistant TPO waterproofing membrane, a solution that guarantees maximum protection and long-term durability.
Additionally, we replaced all the skylights on the structure, enhancing natural light inside the building and significantly improving energy efficiency.
To complete the work, we installed fall protection safety systems, ensuring optimal conditions for maintenance personnel working on the roof in the future. Every phase of the project was executed with the utmost attention to detail and to the client’s specific requirements, delivering a result that meets the high standards expected from a project of this scale.
